We spent our Fall Break soaking up the sunshine and waves in Florida.
Well we actually started our week in Florida with sweatshirts and blankets. It didn’t bother us. We took our blankets and warm clothes down to the beach.
We enjoyed our days on the beach, and our nights eating out and finding fun attractions for the kiddos.
Bowen drove bumper boats, jumped on a trampoline, played games, and rode the train around Pier Park.
Nellie Lou was content to follow Bowen around as he went from activity to activity.
We have a tradition of making the dads ride the train with the kids, and Nellie Lou got to go on her first train ride with Daddy. She was a big fan!
Bowen loves the beach. He likes to dig holes, build sand castles, swim and boogie board in the ocean, and look for sea shells.
Nellie Lou, on the other hand, loves to lounge. She enjoyed eating snacks and relaxing in the sun. By the end of the week she enjoyed swimming in the ocean and running around in the sand too.
We enjoyed our week of fun, and we’re already looking forward to our next family vacation.
Nellie Lou is looking forward to our next family vacation because she knows that means lots of ice cream. That sweet girl loves some ice cream!
